Legal Question in Criminal Law in Utah
old charges
on nov.09,1990 i was arrested with 3 charges 1. tamper with evidence 2nd degee felony 2. illegal possession of other pro W.L. class A misdemeanor. 3. obstruct justice class B misdemeanor. the second and third charges were guilty plea the first charge was amended. what does that mean?

You have not given me enough information to be able answer your question. "what does that mean" depends in part on what you want to accomplish. what you were charged with means less than what you were convicted of or plead guilty to. If you can get a copy of your conviction I would be happy to interpret it for you.
