Depending on her age, criminal history and how she is charged, she will face possible prison time at a state penitentiary. Your daughter is probably addicted to drugs which was the motivation to steal. If this is her first offense, it may be possible to get her diverted into a special program for drug abusers. You may call for a free consultation.
Worst case scenario: 15 years in prison. Likely scenario: No prison time, but some jail time. Utah treats first time offenders pretty well. You definitely need to get her a lawyer.
