Definnition of trafficking drugs by posession .
I need to know the definition of trafficking drugs by posession. Is it the same as selling and distributing ? Are they two seperate offenses ? Or is there a legal diffrence ?

"Possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute" differs from selling, trafficking or actual distribution in that the arrest and seizure are made before there is a sale.
The charge arises from the (1) type of drug, the (2) quantity, the (3) paraphernalia associated with the seizure such as scales, baggies, purchaser lists and any other evidence of packaging indicating preparation for a future sale.
