getting a felony dropped to a misdemeanor or removed from my record
I am trying to enlist in the army and need to have my felony removed from my record or dropped to a misdemeanor how can i do this?

Depends upon the charge. Many you can actually get "expunged" (erased) from your record. Others you can reduce 1 or 2 levels if you have satisfactorily completed all terms of probation, etc.
Most courts have the forms for expungement, as does the Utah court website. For a reduction, often called a "402 reduction," that is done by motion to the court at the completion of your probation. Some charges, such as sex cases those involving a child, are not able to be expunged.
