Legal Question in Criminal Law in Utah
My husband wants me to call a person who stole $100,000 from us (he is a mini Bernie Madoff type) every five minutes for the next day or so. I can't bring myself to do it even though this person deserves it! We have tried letters, phone calls, emails, and letters from our lawyer. We cannot afford to sue this guy presently. Could I be sued for harrassment if I do this even if this person is a criminal?

You could possible be sued, but until there is a court order you can make the calls. It is not likely that the defendant will want to go to court. He will probably just change his phone number or block your calls.
You may call for a free consultation for more information about collecting your money.
