Legal Question in Criminal Law in Utah
I would like to know if a (non) or custodial parent is living with the same sex partner pretending to be married can the non-parent punish a child physically like spanking and/or slapping the mouth of said child? This is other than sending them to there room or time out.

If the custodial partner does not object, then you will have to raise your objections. This includes filing reports with DCFS if you believe the treatment is abusive. You may be able to get a court order that restricts discipline to the custodial parent.
