Legal Question in Criminal Law in Utah
I have prescriptions for Oxycodone and Lortab, that I have been taking back and forth to work so that I don't have to drive for a while after taking them (I don't need them often, but when I do it's pretty bad). I put the bottle in a pocket and go.
Anyway, yesterday I picked up my kids from inside school without realizing they were still in my pocket. I was wondering if I commited a crime in doing so. Since nothing came of it, this is mostly curiosity, and a heads up not to do it again if it is.
Thanks

It is not unlawful to carry drugs on your person for which you have a valid prescription.
