Legal Question in Criminal Law in Utah
I'm on probation in Utah for a felony plea bargain. As part of my probation I have a monthly payment to pay for criminal restitution. I moved to puerto rico to start a beach restaurant bar. I don't have money to pay the monthly payment and I found out looking online that i'm a parole violator and their is a warrant for my arrest. Will Utah try to extradite me or am I safe here?

It depends on the type of crime and how serious it is. You would also have to be arrested in Puerto Rico typically or pulled to be extradited. It will be up to the Utah AGs office to review the seriousness of the crime and whether or not you want to be extradited. On a side note, I'll be in Puerto Rico in October, where is your restaurant located?
