Legal Question in Criminal Law in Utah
Can I retract a statement that I made to the police? My husband had taken a few too many ambien, he called the police saying that I stole the ambien.. I was really mad at him and said some things now they are pressing charges against him. Without what I said they really have nothing....

In Utah you cannot be forced to testify against your spouse. If you will not testify, the prosecutor may huff and puff, but they will have to eventually dismiss.
