What do we call laws based upon the opinions of a supreme court?

Re: Supreme Court Opinions
The United States Supreme Court does not make law - it interprets laws passed by the national congress and the state legislatures. Those law-making bodies may enact new laws, amend old laws, or void laws based upon Supreme Court opinions, but the power to enact legislation remains with the legislative bodies and not the Court. To the extent a law is modified or enacted because of a Supreme Court opinion I suppose those laws could be called court-based responses.
