Legal Question in Criminal Law in Utah
I violated my court probation of a dv case. It was 2 1/2 year probation. I broke my wifes cell phone today and was arrested. I start my new job next week and need to know how severe the outcome will most likely be. I would like to get a rough idea on what the fine and punishment might be. I only broke her cellphone so i dont think it will be too bad but still i violated the probation. Well the court probation.

Violating court probation, especially if it was 2 1/2 years is always serious. Breaking a cell phone, especially when trying to call the police, which is always assumed, can be very serious in its own right.
