Minor in Possession and Consumption questions
I recieved a minor in possession and
a minor in consumption charge the
other night. I am 17 and live in
Texas. These two seperate charges
seem kind of redundant to me
because if you are in consumption of
alcohol odds are you are in
possession too. Anyway to my
question. I have a friend who
recieved a minor in possession and
then a few months later a minor in
consumption. I recieved both of
them on the same night. Are our
charges the same? Does it count as
two strikes for me? Will I have to pay
twice as much and do twice as much
community service as if I only got
one charge? Thanks for the help
