Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

i am 17 and graduated and my parents have joint custody. my dad says i am free to move out. my mom says i must live at home. can i still leave with only one parents consent?

You should talk with both parents, so you are all on the same page. You will need to have a plan to be able to support yourself, as well as have a plan to get an education to improve your life in the future. Moving out is a big decision. Legally you are not an adult until you are 18.
