Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

I am 17 years old and I have a problem. My problem consists of my mother who I am constantly fighting with. My question is if we are in a bad fight can I legally leave in my vehicle to leave the situation so there is no physical abuse without the risk of getting in trouble with the police for "running away"?

You may always leave to avoid physical confrontation. After you leave, you should however contact one of your parents and let them know where you are and when you will return.
