I adopted my ex wife daughter and since divorce my relationship with adopted daughter and ex have gotten very bad. can i overturn the adoption?

Not unless there is a new "father" to take your place. At the adoption you were made the permanent father.

The short answer is no. Just because the relationship has deteriorated is no basis to terminate your parenal rights which you took on with the adoption. If your ex remarries and the new husband is willing to adopt the child, then in that event, you could be relieved of this responsibility.
