Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

adoption

I want to adopt my stepson. the biological father sign away his rights as a parent, but his mother is casuing problems now. what do I have to do to be able to legally make my step son my son by adopting him. I do not have alot of money, but he wants to carry my name and I just cannot let him down.

Step parent adoptions are common in Utah, and generally not terribly expensive (as compared to other legal actions) - it all depends on the cooperation of the parents. You may call for a free consultation.
