adultery

if you are in the process of getting divorced and you are dating someone can you be charged with adultery and lose your children?

Adultery is defined as a married person having sexual relations with a person not their spouse.

Most courts do not approve of married persons with children cohabitating with another person during divorce. It is a factor which is considered in determining custody.

The simple answer to your question would be no. But again, so much depends on all of the facts that are involved and what the children are exposed to. The custody of children is a very complicated issue which needs to be handled through the courts.
