Legal Question in Family Law in Utah
My aunt's ex-boyfriend is constantly hanging out with my underage cousins. They lived all lived together for a year and then my aunt broke up with him but the kids are still calling him for rides or whenever they need something. The girls are 16 and 17 and the man is in his 30s. We have told the girls that it's not good to keep seeing him but they won't listen and they believe he is a good father figure. Can we file a restraining order to stop him from seeing the girls?

You will not be granted a restraining order. Their mother or father could, if they could show that he was a risk to the children.
