Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

My boyfriend is going through a divorce and his ex wife put in their papers that their kids could not be around a significant other. There divorce was filed in 7 months ago. They are going to have a custody evaluation. Is there a way around it so that we can spend time together with his kids?

If you and your boyfriend are in a committed relationship and have been for a while, I don't think you have anything to worry about. A custody evaluator will be fine with you being involved with the children provided you have a clean background as far as any criminal issues.
