Legal Question in Family Law in Utah
My boyfriend has been separated from his wife for 4 years now. We have a two year old child and have lived together for 2 1/2 years now. His ex's attorney is requesting my financial declaration. Should this be a matter in their divorce since we did not even know each other at the time they separated?

You shouldn't have to submit a Financial Declaration. However, your income may be relevant if there is a child from their marriage and child support is needing to be calculated. Also, if alimony is an issue in their divorce your income can be relevant as it pertains to the financial contribution you are making in your current household with your boyfriend.
