Child Custody for domestic partner

I want to know how I can obtain full custody of my children? I care for my children and do not recieve child support. It was a domestic partner relationship, we were never married.

If the father has "abandoned" his children, no contact for more than 6 months, no attempt to provide support and other factors, you can apply for and be given sole custody of your children.
