child custody
I would like to have my 16 year old granddaughter move in with me until she is 18. There is alot of emotional abuse; but no physical abuse in her home. What steps would I need to take in my state to accomplish this?

You need either the written approval of the current custodial parent together with a new order from the court; or file a petition to amend the divorce decree, appoint a custodial evaluator and then get a court order.
