Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

Child Support

I am paying a high amount of child support and alimony to my ex-wife. When we figured the amounts, we attributed minimum wage to her as she wasn't working. Now she has a degree and could pretty much get a job anywhere, but she won't. Can I do anything about lowering the child support?

Re: Child Support

Take her back to court and have the judge impute income to her at the same rate at which another person with the same education could be employed. Child support will be calculated at the new rates. You should have an attorney for this. You may call for a free consultation.
