Legal Question in Family Law in Utah
child support
I recently found out that my soon to be ex husband had his plural wife file for a child support order for their three children. We have five children and he has hated paying $2000.00 a month and this is a way of keeping more money in his pocket. They live together and apart and had a new baby one week ago....now I learned that my children's support will be lowered. Can they do this? I was married to him for 24 years. what can I do? This seems like fraud to me.

Re: child support
I assume you heard this through ORS. Contact ORS and advise them of the facts, and see what they will do. ORS will have to arrange a court hearing to change the current child support order. You will need to attend, and present facts and evidence that they are cohabitating, and that the plural wife's application is not above board.
