child support

i am over seas now and my ex girlfriend is threating me to take me to court for back child support for a child she told me might not be mine what is the best actoin to take in this matter

As long as you are overseas there is nothing she can do, as long as the court knows you are in the armed services. If you are not military, that does not apply. As soon as you can get a paternity test. If you are the father, then you should be prepared to care for the child - and be a father. If the child is not yours, then you will have no liability. Note: Suggest to your girl friend that she consider adoption so that the child can have two committed loving parents.
