Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

i have a child support that was set at 13.28 an hour i am currently making 9.00 an hour and acording to ORS there is no way they can lower the amount or petition the court because it was not a drastic enough of a drop to do so. When i talked with them about 7 months ago i was told that dropping below 9.50 would make it enough so that it could be done. at the time i was working as a temp making 10.50 an hour. now that i have a full time job they wont help. they tell me to wait 6 months then reapply. probllem is the amount they will be taking out is over half my check and having a family of 5 having about 200 a check left over not including insurance which will be taken out of my check drops it to about 125 left. what can i do to get it lowered so that i can try and keep my bills paid?

You can file a petition to modify the support order with the court. There's no need to wait 6 months.
