Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

is there any way to get my children returned to my custody if they have been removed by the state? i was declared unfit and my rights were removed. my attorney wont appeal . i feel i was not fairly represented by my court appointed attorney. please help me

The in state court retains jurisdiction. You must be able to prove to the court that you have reformed and are now fit. That will probably require you to do the things suggested during the court proceedings - like counseling etc. You will have to s show a significant change of circumstances.

You have 30 days to file the appeal otherwise the court order is final.
