Legal Question in Family Law in Utah
Hello
Can my children's father who I am divorcing take his visitation with them at his girlfriend's house as he does not have a residence? He voluntarily took a job out of state but returns to see his girlfriend. Do my children have to share bedrooms with the girlfriend's kids?? What if they are different sexes? My children are 9mo., 4yrs. and 6yrs.
Also, will I be required to send these young children out of state for his visitation in the summer?
What if he is working all day? Is the girlfriend allowed to tend them all day if she moves with him?
Thank you so much

Unless you have the court impose restrictions, yes, he can exercise his visitation at his girlfriend's house. Also, if he relocates out of state, he will be entitled to visit the children out of state for one half of the summer school break and other designated times during the school year. There is a statute which outlines the schedule including the.apportionment of travel costs.
Finally, if he's working during his visits out of state, he can have whomever he wishes tend the children, including his girlfriend.
