Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

I commit a "technical violation" of a protective order. We enter the 5 month of continuance of my case to the point defense and prosecutor attorney want me to plea or declare guilty. I know my mistake was involuntary and accidental. What is the chance that calling for a trial I can win it or the punishment be more?
