Community Property

I am separated from my spouse. I will be getting a settlement from Phen Fen. How do I protect it so my spouse does not have access to it.

Your settlement is not community property. It is compensation for your past and future physical losses. Community property includes "stuff" you acquired by virtue of your marriage. Call if you have more questions.
