Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

Computer divorce, Spouse changes documents.

My sister and ex-spouse used a internet site to file for divorce. They signed the documents and he said he would mail them. He mailed them more than a hundred days later. In the mean time he edited the documents, keeping the first page and the last page. This changed the custody arrangements, each parent would get the 4 yr old child every three months. The mother lives in Utah, the father lives in Colorado. Is this legal? What are important legal papers that everyone should have? i.e, birth certificates, pay stubbs, credit report or current statements from credit companies, list of assets, with supporting documantation. Can he collect money for debt that was paid years go?

Re: Computer divorce, Spouse changes documents.

A party cannot change the documents without the approval of the other. Your sister will need to return to the court granting the divorce to make the corrections.
