correct document

i am actually seeking some type of consent or letter giving me permission to have my little boy sealed to me in the salt lake city utah temple. Me and my husband divorces some years ago and he has agreed to let my younger son get sealed to me and my new husband. would there be any document from your site i can use. plse let me know.thanks

You need to petition the court where your divorce occurred for a step parent adoption, so you new husband can adopt the boy. This would mean your ex would lose legal rights regarding his son. This would mean he would no longer pay child support. Your ex could retain visitation rights to the extent you and he agree, but it would not be part of a court order. After the stepparent adoption is complete, you can take your son to the temple to be sealed to you and your new husband. You may call for a free consultation.
