Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

I am the custodial parent of our child. It is my year to have our son for the holidays but my ex wants to trade. I am afraid that I will loose out on the holidays next ear if I trade this year. My ex will NOT sign a contract but will email me confirmation. Does a contract made over email hold up in court or do I need a signed document?

If you and your ex have a written confirmation of your agreement by email it would be enforceable in court.
