Custody

My baby's mama is in jail on two felony charges. I am the legal (birth certificate) father. Can I get my daughter back from the grandparents? They to do not have court appointed custody, just posession of her. They told me I could not see her. They have had my baby now for about 6 months along with their daughter. My baby girl is 2.5 years old

I would strongly recommend that you immediately file a paternity action so you can get a custody order from the court. At the same time, we would file a motion to get immediate temporary custody.
