daycare subsidy in utah

my daughter was ordered to pay the father of her son the amount that the state day subsadity was how is this legal when she had to qualify for this subsdiy thru the state on her income and it was for her and her two children we really dont under stand how they can make a single mom of two pay back a non custodial parent the daycare he is ordered to pay in divorce decree ??? now what does she do???any advise would be greatly appricated

I'm not sure if I understand your question. Under the law, the parties are required to each pay one-half of all reasonable work related out of pocket child care costs. If the father was reimbursing your daughter one-half of the total cost and she was receiving state assistance for the child care, then the father may have overpaid. Without more information, it's difficult for me to give you a good answer.
