Defacto Custody

Could you please explain what defacto custody is.

There is not a formally recognized legal term 'defacto custody.' However, as it is generally used, it is either the custody arrangement which is covered by statute (alternate weekends, etc.,) or the arrangment which the parents by their conduct and tacit consent agree to follow.
