Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

My divorce was finalized about a year and a half ago. In it my ex husband agreed to pay me about a thousand dollars but he has not paid anything. I have tried to talk to him about and he will not talk about it. A friend said that he is in contempt of court. If he is what can I do?

You can get a judgment against him and have his wages garnished. If the court holds him in contempt, he can possibly go to jail.
