Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

Divorce - health insurance deductible

I have physical custody of 2 children, one of whom racked up emergency medical bills ($600+) which went toward my current family's insurance deductible of $2000. My ex says she should not have to pay half of the amount since it was going toward my family deductible. She says she is ''subsidizing'' my family deductible. How much should she pay, and why? The divorce decree simply states 50/50, and this is how we've done it for 7 years. My new job (2 years ago) insurance has a high deductible, but pays 90% and has no office visit copays after the deductible is met. Thank you!

Re: Divorce - health insurance deductible

She pays whatever the decree states - usually 1/2 of all noncovered expenses - regardless of whether they go to the deductible.
