How long after a divorce is granted can it be amended, can this process go on indefiniately? Does both parties have to agree to the amendment. We were divorced 11 years ago and my x feels like he wasn't treated fairly now and wants to amend it---does he stand a chance and should I hire a lawyer. Surely there's a cut off time where the courts say enough.

A divorce can be amended any time there is a substantial change in circumstances. Both parties do not need to agree. You should have legal representation.
