Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

after having divorce papers filed agains me a yr ago my ex and i were told to see a mediator but its been almost a yr and we have not followed thru though we both have our own lives for passed two yrs and not living with eachother. can we be considered divorced

No, you can't "consider" yourself to be divorced until you're divorced and only a court of law can do that.
