Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

How do I go about getting emergency temporary custody of my grandchildren that are currently living with me. Their mother, my daughter walked out on them 3 months ago. She is an addict and I need to see how I can protect them as well as myself from her coming and getting them until she has completed a rehab program. Please help with legal advice on how to go about it.

Probably the best way is to have the state on your side. Have you contacted DCFS about this matter? They may your best bet in getting what you need.
