Error In Asset Distribution found after payement

An error was found in the court order written up by the ex-spouses attorney in reference to the distributrion of assets. The amount was paid 2 months ago the error was found this month. Can the $4,000 paid in error, be paid back? Can the court make an adjustment due to the clerical error of the ex-spouses attorney?

You will need to contact the attorney and see if he agrees to the error, and get an amended order. If he will not agree, you will have to apply for the amended order with some proof of the error.
