Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

my ex-husband owes me over $8000 in back childsupport and I believe he has filed for SSDI. How do I collect child support if he isn't going to work and is going to be on SSDI? Furthermore, I have no way of contacting him. He got out of jail several months ago and moved into his parent's home. He contacted me via their home phone and asked for a copy of our divorce papers (the portion where it stated the child support obligation). Then he contacted recovery services to have his support reduced d/t the stipulation in the divorce decree which I just mailed him. I was served with legal papers by the court which asked me for a written response to his request. I mailed them the response and have yet to hear back from the court. I have checked with recovery services and the support payments remain the same and he is accruing back support each month still. They were under the impression he was trying to file for SSDI and told me they can't garnish SSDI payments. What do I do now?

Get a judgment for the amount he owes you and then garnish his bank accounts, attach his property and have it sold by the sheriff, get an order to show cause to find out what is going on with his health that he needs SSDI.
