Ex-Husbands Pension

My Ex-Husband died almost 3 years ago. In our divorce decree it states, upon his death I am to recieve 50% of his Pension and my children are to recieve the other 50%. Could you please tell me if there is a 3 year deadline to declare this and how do I go about it.

Take it back to court and seek the amount in arrears and an order for the future amount.
