Legal Question in Family Law in Utah
Hi I am trying to find out how to Change visitation for my Son who has seizures 1-5 times a day. His dad has been out of the state for 4 years and is now in out state and wants to see my son on a regular basis... My ex has had no medical training on the sezures. and My Son will be hospitalized in 2 weeks for brain surgery... can I not allow over nights? what options do I have?

If your ex has court ordered visitation rights you will have to return to court to get a new order, including requirements to have medical assistance. In light of the upcoming surgery it might be best to wait until your doctor oks the travel. Of course ex can come to Utah.
If there is no court ordered visitation, then your ex can be considered to have abandoned the child, and get no rights, or only those rights you allow.
