Forgiveness of Child Support Debt

My x husband, who has no current income or assets that I know of, has asked me for forgiveness of about $90K in past child support debt, as a favor. This children in the case are all grown - this is old business. Can I legally forgive court-ordered child support or can only the court do that?

You can release him from the debt.
