Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

How do I go about getting full custody of my son if I am in Utah with my son and his father is in South Carolina? I have a protective order against his father also.

You must file for custody. If you have not filed for divorce or custody and have been here at least 3 months you can file in Utah. (BTW, my wife is a former S. Carolina guardian ad litem, so we are familiar with S.C. law.) You may call for a free consultation, M-F.
