Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

Future mother in law visitation.

My boy friend and I live together. His mother has multiple mental illnesses, been hospitalized 2 times, has had a history of neglect and also has current health problems. She wants to spend time along with my two children alone in our house when she comes to visit, while we are at work. Her intentions are to spend time with the children and ''make them lunch.'' I am not okay with this due to the history of problems she has had and currently exhibits. I have full legal and physical custody of my children. How do I explain this to my boyfriend in a way that he understands. At the moment, I do not think it is in the best interest of my children to be alone with her. He agrees yet doesn't agree. .. He tries to tell me my children are his mother's reason for wanting to live.... I understand and appreciate her intentions, but both my children are small and one of them is disabled (has autism and speech disorder)

Re: Future mother in law visitation.

Your children should be your number 1 priority. You should be with them while your boy friend's mother is in town. Alternately, let boy friend stay - but he has already inferred that mother gets priority over your children.
