Guardianship

I filed for an annulment and then the husband checked himself into a mental hospital. Now I have found out that his mom is his legal guardian. We were married in Hawaii but live in Utah. Since he has a legal guardian is our marriage valid? Can his mom sign the annulment papers on his behalf? Please help! Thanks!

Mother should be able to sign the documents on his behalf - if she has been appointed by a court to be his legal guardian.
