I would like some guidance regarding the revocation or adjustment of an alimony payment. i have encountered a reduction of earning, and also question who caused the divorce

At this point, it doesn't matter who caused the divorce. If you've encountered a reduction in your earnings, you can petition the court to reduce or terminate your alimony obligation.
